Summer Reads from NHWP Author Members

Looking for your next summer beach read, porch read, vacation read, or curl-up-in-the-shade read? NHWP author members have you covered.

Summer is approaching, and that means more time for books tucked into beach bags, stacked beside porch chairs, packed for weekend getaways, or kept close for quiet mornings with coffee.

We recently asked members of NH Writers’ Project to share books that would make great summer reads, and they delivered a wonderful mix of fiction, memoir, mystery, short stories, romance, children’s books, and more.

This summer, we invite you to read local. Choosing a book by an NHWP member is a simple but meaningful way to support New Hampshire’s literary community. Whether you buy a copy, borrow it from your local library, leave a review, or recommend it to a friend, you help local writers connect with new readers and keep our region’s creative community thriving.
