It will also cover the importance of grounding your writing in a clearly-defined setting. Participants will explore ways to increase their productivity, minimizing that major drain on writers\u2019 energy\u2014using time wisely.<\/p>\n WHERE:<\/strong> Hybrid offering: at the Ford House or on the internet.<\/p>\n WHEN:<\/strong> November 19, 2022, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM<\/p>\n COST:<\/strong> $55 members\/$75 nonmembers<\/p>\n #3 Character Development and Dialogue:<\/strong> Three-dimensional characters are more than external trait<\/em> plus internal trait<\/em>\u2014i.e., the bossy blonde. Characters need goals, motivations, conflict . . . and since they will interact with other characters, they also need to talk. While dialogue in fiction resembles normal speech, it is not<\/em> the same.
