As a result, we believe it will be in the best interests of you, our members, if we postpone our 603 Writers\u2019 Conference until October 17th. We did not come to this decision lightly, but we realize that for many people it is difficult to think about spending money and energy on nonessential activities during a time of uncertainty.\u00a0 By delaying our conference to a later time, we hope you will all be in better circumstances \u2013 physically, mentally, and economically \u2013 to take full advantage of all the benefits the conference has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, we\u2019re going to do what we can to maintain a sense of community. We want to keep your creative energies flowing by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging in social media participation activities<\/li>\n<li>Holding \u201cWriters\u2019 Nights In\u201d instead of our monthly \u201cWriters\u2019 Night Out\u201d (using Zoom or Google Hangouts)<\/li>\n<li>Augmenting our online members\u2019 webinar archives with additional new webinars that we will update biweekly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have already signed up for the conference, we will contact you to see if you prefer a refund or want us to hold your place for October.<\/p>\n<p>Please stay in touch. Getting through this crisis will be easier if we can support each other, so let us know if you have ideas we can share with fellow writers.
