Working with a Designer on Your Book Cover, with Breanna Guidotti

Do you need a cover design for your book? Don’t know where to start? Then, this webinar is for you.

Designer Breanna Guidotti will walk you through the steps of the design process, what your role will be while working with your designer, and tips and tricks on how to get the most value out of the design process while staying on budget.

Armed with a degree in industrial design, Breanna Guidotti started her career 15 years ago at a toy and book publishing company, working with companies like Scholastic, Disney, Chronicle Books, and a brand of learning and science toys called SmartLab. She worked on everything from toy design to package design, including her favorite: the math-y and challenging paper engineering for pop-up books and pop-out paper models. Breanna and her colleague-turned-business partner struck out on their own, and for the last 12 years they have been running Third Boxcar: a web, graphic, and print design house. While they have worked on a breadth of projects across all kinds of industries, their publishing roots have provided them the opportunity to work with many authors, helping them to create their digital presence and arm them with strategies for marketing themselves online and in print.
