We Are Introducing Something New — NHWP Writing Labs

New Year! New Chapter! Finished Projects!

New series kicks-off on Saturday, January 30, 2021

In response to feedback from NHWP members, we are focusing on helping our writing family complete their projects. We are excited to offer a series of monthly writing labs beginning at the end of January and running monthly through May. Three instructors will focus on their specific genres in a three-hour monthly session with a group of no more than eight students.  The low class size will create more of a one-on-one experience for participants.

Each participant will submit seven to ten pages of their project at least 10 days prior to each session. The instructor will evaluate each submission and share the evaluation with the class so all students will have the benefit of learning from one another’s submissions. Having the same instructor will provide added value because the instructor will know each student and their work better.

Participants will have the option of participating in as many or few labs as they would like.  Each of the three instructors will present four times throughout the coming months. These Labs are intended for novice to more experienced writers.

The three instructors are Robin Baskerville, R.W. Greene (Rob), and Gledé Kabongo. The series kicks-off on Saturday, January 30, 2021 with a session by Robin Baskerville.
