With over 100 submissions, the Hemingway Writers’ Challenge is now closed! Thank you to all who submitted in response to this writing event. This challenge is just one part of an exciting collaboration between Ken Burns, the New Hampshire Writers’ Project (NHWP), New Hampshire Humanities, New Hampshire PBS and New Hampshire author Robert Wheeler.NHWP will determine five finalists. Robert Wheeler will select the winning entry, which actor Christopher Savage will read at the virtual “Sneak Preview” event screening of Ken Burns’ latest film “Hemingway” on April 1st.
New Hampshire Writers’ Project will notify the five finalists on March 25th. The winner will be revealed at the April 1st event.
Now that the creative work is complete, NHWP invites you to relax and attend Hemingway’s Paris Literary Salon, a virtual event featuring Robert Wheeler, author of “Hemingway’s Paris,” March 20th at 5:30 p.m.
