Revision is, without question, the thing writers find the most perplexing. How do you take your draft, break it down, and then hone it to the point of flawlessness? How do you know when it’s really ready for prime time? What goes into a successful Revise & Resubmit that leads to representation and a book deal?
At “The Art of Revision,” a three-hour workshop, with author Julian Zabalbeascoa, you will examine the revision processes of several contemporary writers while applying varied strategies to your own writing so that you you begin to move from a draft to a piece of writing that, as George Saunders puts it, has “been the subject of so much concentration it becomes a thing in the world.” This workshop will benefit short story writers, novelists, essayists, and memoirists.
This workshop will help you achieve your goals, and sharpen your editing skills for a future of better writing. Sign up now, seats are limited!
