The 2020 Three-Minute Fiction Slam Competition Is This Thursday

After conferring with the organizers of the Three-Minute Slam Fiction competition, we have made the decision to postpone the Flash Fiction finals on March 12th 2020, due to current health concerns. We will update you when we have a new date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.


Three-Minute Fiction Slam is a fast-paced literary competition that challenges writers to perform original pieces of fiction in three minutes or less in front of a panel of judges. This year’s final competition is on March 12th at The French Auditorium in Manchester at 7:00 PM.

The 2020 Roster of Regional Competition Winners Is:

Peterborough — February  1st,  Winner: William Doreski with “Ghost to Ghost.”

Nashua — February  3rd, Winner:  Peggy McFarland with “Break Up Blues.”

Lebanon —February 8th,   Winner:  Scott Michael Slone with “The Last Wedding Gift.”

Manchester — February 12th  Winner:  Jacob Brown with “Guttural Noises, INC.” 

Newmarket —  February 19th,  Winner:  David Chevalier with “The Golden Gate Job”

North Conway — February 25th, Winner:  Jessica Dushame with “Heads or Tails”

Londonderry —  February 26th, Winner:  E.H. Jacobs with “Siren Song”

Keene — March 4th,  Winner: Ashley Rollend with “Canaries in the Yellow Room”

Portsmouth — March 4th, John Brenahan
