Spotlight Your Work

Starting in February 2025, NH Writers’ Project members have an exclusive opportunity to showcase their published books on Laura Knoy’s podcast, ReadLocalNH. This is more than just a podcast—it’s a platform to amplify your voice and connect with a growing audience of readers and writers.

Why This Opportunity Matters

Being featured on ReadLocalNH isn’t just a chance to promote your work—it’s a step toward building your reputation as an author. Laura Knoy, known for her decades of experience in broadcast journalism as the former host of The Exchange on NHPR, brings credibility and professionalism to every interview. As a member, this collaboration could be your gateway to new audiences and valuable connections in the literary world.

How the Program Works

  1. Monthly Literary Themes: Six times each year (February, March, April, September, October, and November), we announce a fresh literary theme to inspire submissions and ensure a diverse, engaging podcast lineup.
  2. Application & Vetting Process: Submit your application and published book through our streamlined process. Using a checklist developed with Laura, NHWP selects the top submissions that align with each month’s theme.
  3. Author Interviews: The top submission each month is selected for a feature on ReadLocalNH, where Laura will read your book and conduct an in-depth interview to share your story with her audience.
