- Why dialogue? Reasons to get your characters talking to each other
- How written dialogue is different from real-life conversations
- The third thing: What’s happening “off camera,” and how to balance telling with talking
- Using dialect, accents or verbal tics
- Keeping the dialog content and speech tags simple and authentic
- Tips to make your dialogue work better through editing
About Aine
Irish native Áine Greaney now lives in Newburyport, MA. In addition to her published books, her personal and memoir essays have appeared or been cited in publications such as The New York Times, The Boston Globe Magazine, Best American Essays, Creative Nonfiction, Another Chicago Magazine, The Mindful Word, The Daily Wisdom, KevinMD, World of Psychology and other outlets.
