NHWP Harriet E. Wilson Literary Salon with NH Poet Laureate Jennifer Militello

Join us for a rich and intimate evening of poetry, refreshments, and conversation with Jennifer Militello, New Hampshire’s Poet Laureate and nationally recognized author of five poetry collections and the award-winning memoir Knock Wood. Her work—featured in The Paris Review, The Nation, Poetry, and Best American Poetry—is known for its emotional depth and lyrical resonance.

Held in the cozy, historic setting of The John Hay Estate at The Fells, this literary salon invites guests to settle into plush chairs, enjoy light refreshments, and immerse themselves in the power of poetry. Militello will read from her work, including her most recent collection The Pact and offer insights into her creative process, her connection to New Hampshire’s literary landscape, and the role of poetry in our personal and cultural lives.
