Member Marketing Open Forum for December

Marketing Open Forums are 90-minute, lightly facilitated, discussion-driven sessions designed to meet writers where they are right now. Rather than a fixed presentation, these forums center on real questions, real challenges, and real experiences brought by members. The goal is collaborative learning—drawing on peer insight, shared problem-solving, and guided expertise to help participants leave with clarity, perspective, and practical next steps.

These sessions are intentionally flexible and responsive. Topics may range from platform choices and promotion fatigue to event ideas, visibility opportunities, pricing questions, or feedback on works-in-progress from a marketing standpoint. You don’t need to come prepared with a polished question—curiosity and honesty are more than enough.

What to Expect
  • Live, member-driven discussion focused on current marketing challenges and opportunities
  • Peer insight and shared experience from writers at different stages and across genres
  • Light facilitation and guidance to keep conversation productive, inclusive, and on track
  • Actionable takeaways shaped by real-world examples—not theory or one-size-fits-all advice

These forums are ideal for writers who want space to think out loud, test ideas, learn from others, and feel less alone in the marketing side of the writing life.
