NHWP member author Bonnar Spring is presenting a series of three creative writing workshops beginning with getting back to the basics of creative writing on November 12, 2022. The next in the series will explore plot development and creating a believable setting. The final workshop will focus on character development and dialogue. You may register for one or all, depending on your interest.
Bonnar is the author of IPPY award winning novel Toward the Light, which is set in Guatemala and her newly released Disappeared, which takes place in Morocco. Bonnar’s life is as colorful as her books. She is a nomad at heart and hitchhiked across Europe when she was just 16 years-old. She joined the Peace Corps after college and recently trekked Macchu Picchu on a significant birthday. She earned an M.ED from Harvard, and like Robert Wheeler, she has taught English as a second language.
