Kick off National Novel Writing Month by joining fellow novelists with a write-in event, either in-person at the Ford House or over the internet. We’ll provide some tools to help you start your quest to write your novel in November by providing a writing coach and story guide.
National Novel Writing Month (often shortened to NaNoWriMo) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that promotes creative writing around the world. Its flagship program is an annual, international creative writing event in which participants attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript during the month of November. Focusing on the length of a work rather than the quality, writers are encouraged to finish their first draft quickly so it can be edited later at their discretion.
WHERE: Hybrid offering: at the Ford House or on the internet.
WHEN: November, 2022, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
COST: FREE for Members/$20 for nonmembers.
