Many of us will be homebound again this winter due to Covid 19, but we can still travel through our imaginations and our writing. NHWP is offering a series of writing journeys allowing us to explore stories and histories of diverse places through virtual visits. On these virtual tours, we will generate and share writing, allowing us to develop seeds for stories, poems, essays and other works. Through a series of interactive experiences and writing invitations we invite you to grab your virtual passport and accompany us on these writing expeditions.
Destinations:
- February 20: New Hampshire
- March 20: Dominican Republic
- April 17: Georgia
- May 22: Washington, D.C.
- June 5: New Orleans
Come along with us on these virtual adventures and find inspiration for your writing. Each session will use breakout rooms and facilitators with the main purpose of creating, writing, and sharing (not critiquing). All participants will have the opportunity to enter comments on the NHWP travelogue blogspace; and anyone who travels to each of the destinations will receive a NHWP Canvas Bag, T-Shirt and Mug!
