The podcast is recorded in one take, without stopping for corrections or edits. Once recording begins, it runs uninterrupted until the session concludes.
Yes, you will receive a list of questions before the recording. However, as this is a live conversation, additional questions may arise based on your responses.
No, the podcast is not edited. What you say during the recording will be the final version, so please come prepared.
Please bring at least one copy of your book, as we will take photos of you and your book for promotional purposes.
Wear something you feel comfortable being photographed in, as pictures from the session will be shared on social media and websites.
Please arrive at your designated recording time. Directions to the recording location will be provided in advance.
Yes, Laura Knoy will contact selected authors to discuss the interview and provide tips to ensure a successful session.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please ensure all required fields are filled out before submission.
Authors are selected based on the alignment of their published book with the monthly theme, the quality of their submission, and their ability to engage in a dynamic conversation about their work.
No, only one book can be submitted per application. If you have multiple books, you may submit a new application for another book during a future open submission period.
If you are delayed, please contact Laura Knoy at the phone number provided in your confirmation email as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate delays but cannot guarantee recording will proceed if you arrive late.
Due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback on applications.
Yes, you will receive a link to the podcast episode once it is published, along with promotional materials for sharing.
Yes, you are welcome to reapply in the future with the same or a different published book, as long as it aligns with the current theme and submission guidelines.
