The New Hampshire Writers’ Project (NHWP) announces the return of its annual 603 Writers’ Conference, a full-day event designed to inspire and equip writers at every stage of their journey. The conference will feature keynote speaker Tess Gerritsen, the internationally bestselling author of the Rizzoli & Isles and Martini Club series, who will share her journey from physician to novelist—and how resourceful women have shaped her stories and success.
The 2025 conference offers an engaging mix of expert-led workshops on topics ranging from memoir and personal essay to line editing, novel structure, fiction writing, and author marketing. Attendees will enjoy a continental breakfast, catered lunch, two workshop sessions of their choice, a networking Pitch Party with refreshments, and the chance to win $250 for best pitch (entries due May 30).
“This conference is a cornerstone of our mission to nurture and empower writers throughout New Hampshire and beyond,” said Masheri Chappelle, NHWP Board Chair. “Whether you’re just starting your first story or preparing to publish your next book, the 603 Writers’ Conference provides the skills, inspiration, and community you need to take the next step in your literary journey.”
Workshop presenters include acclaimed authors and industry professionals such as Jennifer Militello, Joni B. Cole, Ian M. Rogers, Dale T. Phillips, Martha Carlson, Peggy Rosen, Paula Munier, Áine Greaney, and Traci Bisson—with a special marketing session co-led by media personality Mike Morin.
Early bird pricing for NHWP members is available through May 15, offering a $25 discount.
