603: Writers’ “Sit and Click” Virtual Conference 2022, Archive

2022 603 Conference

This year’s conference is taking place virtually through the Zoom platform on Saturday, June 4th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We are excited to announce the event will feature a 90-minute conversation with celebrated author and Emmy winning screenwriter, Geoffrey C. Ward. Ward is best known through his collaborations with Ken Burns. Since 1984 he has partnered with Burns as the sole or principal scriptwriter for The Civil War, Baseball, Jazz, Mark Twain, and multiple other Burns’ documentaries. He also won the National Book Critics Circle Award for his biography of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Throughout the conference, we will focus on what makes our stories better. We have 9 workshops scheduled for the morning. Presenters include authors, marketers, agents, and more.

Our keynote, workshops, panel discussion, and pitch party, will be held online. The Conference will have an intimate atmosphere and environment so you can ask questions and meet new people. All attendees can join from anywhere with internet access! View directions for accessing the conference via Zoom here.

Prior to 2020, our conferences had been in-person. As a result of COVID-19, we converted our annual 603 Writers' Conference into an online-only event. It was a great success!

We will record all sessions. As an extra bonus, everyone who signs up for the conference will receive six weeks of unlimited access to all recorded Conference videos. This means all attendees will be able to eventually watch and learn from every class on the schedule.
