This Saturday, The Toadstool Bookshop in Milford will be having a Local Authors Open House event at 3:00pm with six local authors, including crime writer Sue Coletta.

Sue Coletta is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and International Thriller Writers. She has published six novels, including Marred and Wings of Mayhem, as well as resource books such as Crime Writers’ Research  and 60 Ways to Murder Your Characters. She has been published in numerous anthologies,

How to Get Published in an Academic Literary Journal: An Interview with Steve Castro of Folio

Folio is the literary journal of the Master of Fine Arts program in creative writing at the American University in Washington, D.C. Established in 1984, the journal is nationally recognized for the work they have published by both established and emerging writers. Their issues have included work by Chloe Caldwell, Billy Collins, and William Stafford, to name a few.

Getting published in literary magazines such as Folio, however, can be a challenge.
